Whitby Beach Sweep invite you to join them on their Summer Sweep on the 19th August, 2pm-3pm.

They will be meeting at the Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf at 2pm then make their way along Whitby beach and the zig zags or anywhere that you can see rubbish!

Litter pickers, gloves and bags will be provided where possible but if you have your own please bring them. They encourage the use of reusable bags and containers in order to cut down the amount of plastic bags being used.

After an hour of beach cleaning they will be meeting at Full of Beans coffee hut on Khyber pass for a complementary drink paid for by Totally Socially, who have been supporting this group with their development from the very beginning.

Please can you ensure that you are dressed correctly for this event. Waterproofs, sun cream, good footwear and a hat are all things to consider.

Anyone bringing animals to the event do so at their own risk and are solely responsible for looking after the animal and ensuring its safe behaviour. Please ensure you check restrictions for dogs on this beach.
